I was afraid. I can’t swim. I jumped in anyways and trusted you. It’s cold and dark down here. But you embraced me and lifted me up. The light appears and I take a breath. Exhilarating. You’ve made me rise and face my fears.
An artistic intervention between artist Jason Botkin and a growing community of people in Toronto deeply concerned about the health of the Lakes. The Love Letter to the Great Lakes is both offered to, and authored by the people of Toronto; giving a much needed voice to the Great Lakes and the many environmental issues that threaten their health. This love letter is part of our growing public art project that gives voice to the lakes and inspires communities to care for and protect them. Write us yours and leave it at stackt!
